Soccer Begins

Gavin had his first soccer game. His team is called the Warriors and he is number 5. We didn’t get to have a practice yet; it was supposed to be on Monday but was rained out. The boys did pretty well for never practicing. Gavin was a lot more aggressive than he was on his Frisco team. They played five on five there and here we play three on three. Gavin even had an assist. Carter already knows what to do with the ball and had fun kicking it around until he had a met down because it was too close to bedtime. Renée was fascinated by the teammate’s older brother who had an arm deformity. His arm was only developed to a little past the elbow and then had a little tiny hand on it. Renée’ kept talking about how cute his little tiny hand was and the kid even let her touch it. I really wasn’t sure how to handle that situation.
