New Year's Eve Party

On New Years Eve we had a party! Alycia, minus Nick because he was chaperoning a dance, Marci and Jeremiah Sparks, Lisa and Chad Meyers, and Michalann and Jerry Collingwood came. Everyone brought there kids in their pajamas and we let them run around wild until 9. Then everyone got out their sleeping bags and we put in a movie and turned out the lights. The kids were really good and most of them fell asleep pretty quickly. The adults had a great game night. We played Imagine If, Zobmondo, and Apples to Apples. We ended up staying up playing until 2am. It was one of the most enjoyable New Year’s eves that we have had in a long time.

Wii

No one loves our Wii more than Blake, my nephew, does. It is the first thing he asks to do as soon as he comes over. I thought the boys were so funny playing. Not as funny as doing the video of them doing Taebo, but they were still pretty funny.

River Walk Lights

After a day at Sea World, we headed down to the River Walk in downtown San Antonio. We wanted to see it decorated for Christmas. It was gorgeous down there. With all the lights reflecting on the water, my pictures don’t do it justice. We also go to see the Alamo. It was closed by the time we got there, but the outside sure is pretty. Renée found a carriage horse on our way back. Doesn’t she look happy to see him? We got home around midnight and decided that Sea World in a day isn’t for us. Next time we go down we will be spending the night.

Sea World in a Day

Since we have season passes to Sea World, we decided to try it as a day trip. We were in the van at 7:30 and arrived at Sea World at noon. We had a wonderful day there. Carter loves the fish and got so excited I had to include these videos.

Moses came to Keller

The Moses family drove from Frisco to see us today. We used to get together with them a lot when we lived there and miss them now that we live an hour away. We had a great time talking and catching up. We even played some Wii bowling. We both have blond babies named Carter and our names are both Tiffany. Our kids are about the same ages, so they have a great time when we get together. Thanks for making the drive down Tiffany and Jason!

Christmas Dinner

The Thurmans came over for dinner on Christmas. They brought a yummy ham and mashed potatoes. I made rolls, sweet potatoes, and green bean casserole. Susan was a Christmas baby, so I made her a chocolate cake with peanut butter filling. We had a great time playing cards while the kids ran around playing.

Christmas Morning

Our Christmas morning was fabulous! Gavin and Renée ran into our room around 8am reporting that Santa came. After getting up John and Carter we let them tear into their presents. Gavin’s favorite gift was a space shuttle building system. He played with it all day. You can see his excitement in every picture. Renée got a lot of horses and loves them. She has already given every one a name. She also got The Last Unicorn movie which she has already watched four times. Renée also got horse stickers which she decorated our pjs with. Sam was given the most. Carter got a drill that he loves. He just goes around the house drilling things. Carter and Sam both got safety goggles.

We let Renée and Gavin shop at the dollar store this year for gifts. Alycia took them each shopping. Gavin got me pens, Sam checkers, Renée a Dora ribbon dancing stick, and Carter a ball with squishy spikes. Renée got me lip gloss, Sam safety goggle, Gavin a truck, and Carter a truck. It was really fun to see what they thought we would like.

Our kids are the perfect ages for the magic of Christmas. It was such a fun day and we are blessed to be able to do so much for our children and to be together on this special day. We hope you all feel as blessed as we do and had a Merry Christmas.

Christmas Eve

To celebrate Christmas Eve, we had a candle lit dinner. We ate fried shrimp, chicken cordon bleu, baked potatoes, and broccoli. The kids got to open their presents from GG and Pap-pap in front of the webcam, so my parents could watch. They love their new toys. Thank you.

We preformed a nativity pageant. Renée was Mary. Gavin was Joseph. John was a wise man. Sam was the Shepherd. I was an angle/narrator. Carter did not was to participate. Thanks to a fun package from Joi, we even had head dresses to wear. Thanks Joi! Before the kids went to bed Sam read them The Night Before Christmas.

Uncle John

Sam’s younger brother John is here visiting. The kids are so excited to have him. He brought his PS3 and the kids all like to watch him play.
