Cowboys's Game

Lindsey and Mark offered us their extra Cowboys tickets.  This was our first NFL experience and the Cowboy's stadium was amazing.  We also enjoyed the nachos:)

Art Teacher

It is official, I am teaching again.  I have a perfect half time position teaching art at Saginaw Elementary.  For the first half of the year I will be there from noon to 3pm teaching kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades.   The second half of the year I will be there from 7-10:30am teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  I love my schedule.  I can still volunteer in my children's school and give tours at the Kimbell Art Museum.  I feel really blessed.

First Day of School

The first day of school has finally arrived.  All of my kids are in one school and I couldn't be more thrilled start this chapter of my life.  You will not see any tears at our tears and cheers party.  Here are the outfits and backpacks that the kids picked out for their first day.  Renee picked those red boots first and we picked everything else to match.

Home

Now that we are home we are busy getting things unpacked, going back to school shopping, grocery shopping, and doing laundry.  I start my new job on Monday with a week of new hire orientation.  Gavin picked out this fabulous plaid outfit.  Don't worry, we won't let him wear it all together.

Colorado - Boulder and Garden of the Gods

After sleeping in, we spent the morning with Susan before she had to head to work.  We hiked from Susan's house to Red Rock trail.  It over looked Boulder and was really pretty.  After we got back we drove to Colorado Springs, which was a little less than two hours away.  There the kids got to climb all over the beautiful red rocks.  We stayed at a hotel that night since we were only staying one night

On the Road - Through Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, Jackson, and eventually making it to Boulder Colorado

We left the cabin really early because we had a long drive ahead of us.  We drove took the scenic route through Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons, stoping for photos along the way.  We also stopped in Jackson Hole because I couldn't pass up the antler arch picture.  Jackson was beautiful and such a cute town.  It would be fun to spend some time there someday.  The rest of our day was long and boring.  Jackson is the only nice place in Wyoming.  The rest was pretty dusty.  When we passed into Colorado things started to get better.  We made it to Boulder Colorado by 8pm and got to stay with one of my best friends for high school, Susan.  She and her husband were so welcoming and great with our kids.  It was so great to catch up.

More Grand Tetons, too bad it is so hazy.

Mesa Falls

The Neslons, Mom, Dad, and Kendra left the cabin after lunch.  Dane and my family stayed one more night.  We decided to check out Mesa falls.  I also got to take Dane's family photos.
Renee lost her front tooth.
