Sam and I added hardware to our kitchen cabinets and I love it. It makes a big difference in the kitchen and I no longer am breaking nails opening the drawers. The downside is that it is easier for Carter to open the drawers.
I really have to think about doing that in our kitchen. I've sacrificed a few nails to my drawers too. I love the handles you all pick - they look great!

The hardware makes a noticable difference. It looks good. I knew the handle/knob combination would be a good choice!
