So You Think You Can Dance

Alycia and I faithfully watched So You Think You Can Dance this summer and loved it. The tour came to Grand Prairie, TX at the Nokia Center, so we decide to go and see our fans perform live. We made a night out of it and went shopping and went to La Madeline’s for dinner. Traffic was terrible and we didn’t’ get into the theater until after the show was supposed to start. We were pretty close to the stage but off to the side a little. Someone tired to take our seats, but Alycia kicked them out. You don’t want to mess with her. The show started seconds after we sat down. We really enjoyed it, but some of the dances were better on TV. For example, the door dance wasn’t as good when we could only see half the performance. The group dances were really neat to see in person. If you love this show and would like to see the tour sometime, spend the money on the good seats. If you are way up high, expect to be watching everything on the TV screen, because you won’t be able to see the dancers. We were close so it was great. After the show we went to Sheridan’s and got custard. They were out of waffle cones, so the guy gave us our concretes for free!
