Pumpkin Patch

Sam and Gavin had off work and school because it was Columbus Day. We decided to head up to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. If you live in the area, I recommend you go. It is completely free and lots of fun. This was my second year going, so I wasn’t surprised by the fact that the pumpkins don’t actually grow in this patch. They just line up the pumpkins in a field. It was in the mid 70s, so I couldn’t complain. There are hay mazes, bounce houses, hay rides, and plenty of picnic tables. We met Alycia and kids there and brought our lunch. The kids all had a wonderful time. Renée was even able to pet a horse! Carter didn’t really want to do anything. He did seem to like the hay ride. Sam got a camcorder, so he documented the experience for us.

Wow! That looks like a great pumpkin patch! Around here they don't even bother with a field - they just line the pumpkins up in a parking lot :)

Hey! We were there that same day! Wasn't it just perfect weather with the overcast sky that day? We love going to the pumpkin patch. This was our 4th year. We always take our family picture in the same place and it's been fun to see how everyone's changed and see the new additions to the family. Fun, fun!
