Gavin earned the Pat on the Back award today! I am so proud of him. It is only given to one child who has been good all day. When I first heard about this award I started to get concerned. There are 20 kids in the class and it was three weeks in and Gavin still hadn’t gotten it. Then I found out that it isn’t given every day. That made me feel a lot better. Gavin is doing great in school and he loves it. He passed off his first set of sight words today and loved to learn. Right now he likes to learn about his body and Sam reads him books that will teach him about it. One morning he got in bed with me and was telling me all about platelets before the sun was up. He also talks about cells and DNA. Pap-Pap Gampe would be proud.
