Pinewood Derby

We went to the Pinewood Derby pretty confident since Gavin took 3rd place last year. Unfortunately, his car came in 7th place. He cried a little that he didn't make it to the final six.  While I was wanting him to win, it is good to have failure in life on a small scale.  We talked about designs for next year and he cheered up quickly on the way home.
