Alycia is in the hospital for pneumonia. She might get to come home tomorrow. What a sad way to spend her birthday. I am sure she would appreciate birthday wishes from her friends and family.

Tell Alycia that just because Sam spent his birthday in the hospital, doesn't mean that she should. I don't think he liked it much. :)

man oh man...poor girl! the upshot is she at least gets to rest for a few days, watch tv and maybe read a book, which i'd be she doesn't get to do at home! keep me posted on her recovery. hopefully she'll be well by the weekend so the two of you can still celebrate your birthdays together!
That sure is an unpleasant way to get to spend your birthday. I hope your sister feels better soon. Gary had pneumonia last month. He talked his way out of a hospital stay, but missed a week of work.
