Apfel Multaschen

Laurel, Kendra, Carter, and Sam made us Apfel Multaschen for our Christmas breakfast. It is a pastry filled with apples, with an egg custard around it. You make it the night before and then stick it in the oven just before the kids come down to open presents. An hour later the kids are done and breakfast is ready. We have it every year and the recipe has been passed down from my mom’s family.
