San Antonio Day 1

Since our Sea World season passes were about to expire, we decided to take one last trip to San Antonio. We made the mistake of listening to The Last Lecture on the van ride there. It is an incredible book, but if our eyes look red and puffy, that is why. We got down to the park around 2pm the thing Gavin and Renée wanted to do the most was ride the Shamu express (a little rollercoaster). Carter jumped around in the foam playground. We went to Fantasea, visited the dolphins, and went to the aquarium.
We went to the Alamo and strolled along the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio. We ate dinner right next to the water. We had never taken a river tour boat and since the river is so pretty at Christmas time with the lights, we thought now was the time. Unfortunately everyone else in San Antonio had the same idea. It was about an hour wait to get on a boat. We had a wonderful time on the tour but Renée got a little tired.
