I signed up to receive a free curb tree from the city of Fort Worth. The city came and marked where we had to plant it. We got to pick out the type. I chose a redbud because of its flowers. When we picked up the tree on Saturday, I had to laugh. It is a stick and there isn’t a single leaf on it. Hopefully it will survive.

I hope it makes it too! On the bright side, you could reenact "A Charlie Brown Christmas" around it come holiday time.
