Our last stop was Progresso, Mexico. We took one of the cruises excursions to Chichen-Itza to see the Mayan ruins. It was a two and a half hour bus ride there, but it was well worth it. The ruins were incredible.In both of the cities we stopped at you can get the same generic souvenirs. In Chichen-Itza men were carving masks with machetes. It was pretty neat to watch.
