My Supers
Gavin wanted to be Superman and Rene'e wanted to be Supergirl, so I figured we might as well make Carter super too. I took these yesterday so the prospect of getting candy wouldn't interfere with the picture taking. Getting the three of them to smile at the same time ended up being impossible anyway.

Pumpkin Patch
Alycia and I met at the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch on Friday. (It is about 45 minutes from Frisco.) It was a fabulous place for the kids. There were picnic tables to eat lunch, several bounce houses, wagons to pull around your kids or pumpkins, hay rides, hay mazes, and of course a whole lot of pumpkins. The greatest thing about the place was that it was all for free. We had a wonderful time.

4128 Drexmore St.
After we signed the papers to get under contract, it was too dark to take pictures of our unfinished house. This is the elevation and floor plan. We do have the optional media room rather than the second master.
Sam's start date for Navair was pushed back to November 13th. I guess it is the start of a pay period.

We Got a House!
We are now under contract on a house in Keller. It is a spec home in Crawford Farms. We are really excited because we got a fabulous deal. I will post a picture when I go take one. We have to sign the paperwork tonight. It will be finished being build in November and we will close on Dec. 11th. That should make for a fun Christmas!

More Soccer GO Tanks!
Gavin is still enjoying his weekly soccer games. We are thrilled that he still is excited to go and play in the game. He still needs to work on watching the ball instead of swinging on the goal post, but other than that he does a great job.
GG was able to see one of Gavin's games while she was here to watch the kids during my cruise.
Rene'e always finds something to occupy her time during Gavin's games. It usually involved dirt.

Chichen-Itza
Our last stop was Progresso, Mexico. We took one of the cruises excursions to Chichen-Itza to see the Mayan ruins. It was a two and a half hour bus ride there, but it was well worth it. The ruins were incredible.
In both of the cities we stopped at you can get the same generic souvenirs. In Chichen-Itza men were carving masks with machetes. It was pretty neat to watch.

Cozumel, Mexico
Our first stop on our cruise was to Cozumel. The water was so pretty. It was the clearest blue I ever saw. We spent the first hour and a half shopping. Then was went to a resort called Playa Uvas. We took a cab and only paid $15 a person to get into the resort. We went on a snorkeling tour of the coral reef. It was Alycia, me and the tour guide. It was incredible what we could see. I loved Cozumel. It is the cleanest place in Mexico that I have been too.
Sister Cruise
Alycia and I took the best vacation ever. Our husbands surprised us with a five night cruise for Mother's Day. It was just Alycia and I, no husbands or children. This was my first cruise and I fell in love with cruising. The food was incredible. Alycia and I dressed up every night to enjoy things like lobster, steak, and wonderful deserts. There was also buffets in the evening and a pizza place that never closed. You sit with the same group every night for dinner and we sat with four guys from Austin area that we had a lot of fun with. We called them our Cowboys. On the last evening we played spoon and we got pretty wild. Alycia and I both have bruises. We went dancing every evening and it made us feel young again. Our room included a pole in the middle. We really weren't sure what it was for, but got some pictures with it anyway. Our favorite day on the boat was spent laying on the deck reading for five hours. Being so busy with three children, doing nothing felt wonderful.
