A Hiking We Will Go
We took the kids hiking around Eagle Mountain Lake. The trail is really nice and we saw five armadillos and a scorpion. We went 4.5 miles, not entirely by choice, because we made a wrong turn. Carter made it three and then Sam and I carried him. Gavin and Renée loved hiking and Gavin especially loved checking out all the bugs. It was a fun way to spend the evening.

that armadillo is AWESOME!!! i just want to pick it up! the scorpion on the other hand makes me want to run away shrieking!
