We had planned to go and see a fireworks show but Sam’s leg was hurting him and Cater threw up, he ate too much. There was a 50% chance of rain and after all the steam cleaning post throw up, we weren’t up to going. Independence Day is one of Sam’s favorite holidays. He likes to blow things up and so does his dad. He has great memories of the adapted firecrackers he would make growing up. He was pretty bummed that our celebration was non existent. Knowing this Nick and Alycia got some firecrackers and we had our own fun.
Nick lighting all the sparklers.
Renée, Gavin, & Blake with sparklers.
A very happy Renée.
Watching Nick set things off.
Gavin with a sparkler.
Sam teaching the kids to set off poppers in their hands.
Carter was a little afraid of the sparklers, but he warmed up to them quickly.
Carter is my only child who insists on picking his own clothes. He is in Christmas PJs.
The Grand Finally!
