Carter was horrible to photograph, but the last photo that we have hanging is from when he was 12 months old. Would you hang any of these on your wall?

Gavin Photoshoot

To talk Gavin into wearing his church clothes for the pictures, I let him wear the clothes he was wearing. We took pictures in the empty lot that he calls the sand dunes. There really isn’t any sand; we only have clay for dirt in this part of Texas. Anyway, he picked up the tire and I loved how they turned out. I might be able to talk my brother-in-law, Scott, into taking off the batman symbol in Photoshop. Tell me which photo is your favorite.

Renée is a wonderful subject and is so photogenic. Now my problem is that I can’t choose which photo is best. Let me know which one is your favorite.

Soccer Returns

A week of soccer was cancelled because of the swine flu. Crazy, I know. Gavin and Renée each had a game.

Dinosaur Bone

I am in the process of digging out the clay in my flower beds so I can add new dirt that will actually grow flowers. While helping me with the digging, Gavin and Renée found a dinosaur bone! Gavin told Sam that it was the best day of his life! (I actually bought the bone at Albertson’s and planted it there the night before.)

Alycia's move

Alycia and her family moved a mile and a half away from us. No more waiting for the train and waiting in traffic to see each other. She got new drapes and I was able to drive over and see them in a flash. She has two community pools, so now with the three to choose from between us. We are so excited that they are so close and that we get to go to church with together.

Fishing with Friends

We went fishing with our friends the Sparks. Gavin and Ethan are in the same church and school class, so they are the best of friends. Ethan believes everything Gavin tells him, which is kind of unfortunate since Gavin makes stuff up a lot. The kids caught minnows with a net and we caught more catch fish. It was a great evening.
