While I was photographing Alycia’s kids, my kids wanted to take a turn. Here are three that I liked.

Freckles and Hair Cuts

I took the kids out after church to take their pictures. I wanted to show you their summer hair cuts and freckles. Carter has never had freckles before, but our days in the sun are showing up as freckles on both of my boys’ faces. Renée doesn’t have too many freckles but she sure is tan.

I took this of my niece, Sydney, today and I love how it turned out!

Kindergarten Picnic

Gavin had a wonderful kindergarten teacher this year. He just loved Mrs. Logsdon! She had a picnic for all the kids at a local park. The kids played at the playground, the dad’s took turns hitting the piñata, and we even had cake. What a great way to celebrate a fantastic first year of school.

Water Day

Instead of having a field day, Gavin’s class had a water day. The kids rotated from station to station doing things like a bounce house water slide, slip and slide, shaving cream, sprinklers, bubbles, popsicles, and watermelon seed spiting. The activity was completely run by parent volunteers. Gavin had a wonderful time and I got to go down that water slide a few times.

Summer Jinx

Sam shaves Jinx each summer so he isn’t so hot. People laugh because he looks like a totally different dog. The shaved head picture is for you Charlie!

Preschool Comes to an End

Preschool is officially over. We had a great year and the kids were fantastic. This was wonderful for my children to have that structure and learning twice a week. I am glad that I did it, but I am also glad that it is over.

A Name

I chose a name for my buisness, now I just need to work on the website.

Tool Hound

Carter loves tools more than anything else in this world. He is constantly getting into Sam’s tool box. Today he pulled out my dresser drawers like stairs so he could get a screw driver off of the top. Play tools aren’t good enough for him. He only likes the really thing. I guess this is pay back for Sam always getting into his dad’s tools and leaving them in the yard

Another Summer at NRH2O

We got season passes to NRH2O (a local water park) again. Let the fun begin! Gavin and Renée are both in the first picture. Can you find them?

Carpet Angels

I didn’t know anything about this until I uploaded the memory card. I guess these are carpet angels.

Crazy Sock Day

Gavin wore these for crazy sock day at school.

Bumblebee Pizza Party

Renée’s soccer team celebrated the end of the season with a pizza party. Renée was very excited about her trophy! In the trophy picture: Nicole, Abby, Alisa, Renée, and Megan.

Photography Buisness

I am starting a photography business now that preschool is coming to an end. I am trying to think of a good name for my business. Any ideas?

Wisdom Teeth

I got my wisdom teeth out. Luckily I only had three. The top ones don’t hurt at all, but the one I had on the bottom is pretty sore. Don’t I look fantastic in my ice pack holder?

Stair Sleeper

Renée has a habit of sneaking out of her bed. After I got home from a fun girls night out, this is where I found Renée.

Running Club

There was an awards ceremony for all the running club participants. Running club was every Thursday after school and the kids ran laps in the field behind the school. They got their hands marked for each lap they completed. Gavin won the award for running the most miles out of the kindergarten boys. He ran a total of 13 miles. Renée ran a total of six miles. They both got certificates and metals.

A Break from Soccer

Our soccer season has come to an end. Renée’s last game was on May 12^th and Gavin’s last game was on May 14^th. Between the swine flue and a wet spring this season seemed to last forever. We are ready for a break.

Texas Rangers Game

We went to the Texas Ranger’s game against the Mariners with the Nelsons and some people from our ward. The kids seemed to think it was pretty cool considering we were there until 10:30pm. The game went 11 innings and the Rangers won! It was dollar hot dog day so we ate hot dogs and brought other yummy treats.
