Gavin graduated from preschool last Monday. We had our ceremony at a park and it was a very short program. After the kids ate cake they played on the equipment.
I made the cake and was practicing some techniques for John and Debra's wedding cake.

Oh Baba Baba!
Carter is already seven months. I sometime forget because he is so little (13 lbs). Here are some facts about Carter.
- He has his two bottom teeth, which I am not enjoying while nursing.
- He loves to play in the exersaucer.
- He doesn't like his swing as much as he used to.
- He can roll just about anywhere.
- He loves pears and sweet potatoes.
- I occasionally let him sit but I don't trust him not to fall over and I don't have much time to be sitting with him.
- He saw the endocrinologist and there is nothing wrong with him to explain his small stature.
- I am so glad he is a part of our family!

Living room naps
I really have no idea why my kids pull their blankets off their beds and lay down in the living room. It is almost impossible to get them to nap in their rooms. This was Sunday morning thanks to 1pm church. I am having trouble keeping clothes on Rene'e. Sam potty trained her and now she really likes to be naked. I guess I have to work on that.

Number 603
This morning I completed my first race, The White Rock and Roll Five Mile. My time was 46 minutes and 50 seconds. It was a great experience and I would definitively do it again. My friends, left to right, Tammie Slay, Tami Johnson, and Julie Herlin. I just found out I was ranked 24 out of 90 for my age group and 333 out of 828 overall.

Baby Birds
Here is an update on our baby birds. We ended up having five eggs in our nest. I didn't know that birds didn't have all their eggs in one day. She laid one a day for five days. They hatched while we were in Arizona, so we came home to a MESS on the door. I took this picture and the next day the birds were gone. It didn't take them long to grow up and fly away. I scrubbed off the door and fixed the wreath so our entry is back to normal.
